Inter-Atlantic Group is a private investment firm established in 1992.  The core team joined the firm between 1995 and 1999.  The management team averages over 20 years of experience in private equity investing in the financial, business and consumer services industries, with an average of 12 years of experience at Inter-Atlantic.  Since 2000, Inter-Atlantic has managed private equity funds focused exclusively on growth capital opportunities in the financial, business and consumer services sectors. 

Inter-Atlantic Fund, L.P. was established in 2000 and Inter-Atlantic Fund II, L.P. was established in 2005 as an add-on fund.  In October 2007, members of the management team sponsored a $69 million special purpose acquisition company, Inter-Atlantic Financial, Inc.  In addition, Inter-Atlantic has raised and invested over $400 million in standalone investments.  Inter-Atlantic's most recent fund, Underserved Opportunities Fund, L.P., had its first closing in 2009 and was established to make growth capital investments in underserved markets with a specific focus on the financial, business and consumer services sectors.

The funds are organized as Bermuda limited partnerships. The funds' investors include major financial services companies and prominent private equity institutional investors.
